Chris turned 31 this weekend. It was really fun, but we are ready to get back to "real" life. (For us this means a lot more fruits and veggies, not so much eating out, more running, less drinking...you get the idea.)
Also, he introduced me to what I think is my newest favorite movie: The Hateful Eight. This has nothing to do with anything, but it's important for me to note for some reason.
Anyways, here is the photo dump:
This week we stumbled upon a friend's art in one of our favorite football bars, we celebrated Chris turning 31, we went to a new cafe we really like twice, I had the best Torta I have ever had, I made a huge batch of watermelon juice, we went to Playa and a bird pooped on Chris (so funny), we had coco frios on the east side, I started reading for fun again, we got a "jar" of peach wine (actually a pitcher) and vanilla ice cream that was to die for, I had fruit loops from a breakfast buffet, and we went to another cafe we really like again.
I remembered how much everything comes back to my love for writing. We drank a ton of tequila. We stood on the rooftop of the suites while Chris held me and showed me the Super Moon, we cuddled every morning, I taught a lot, we had a puppy appreciation day because they have been SO good, I got really homesick, I gushed about how amazing and considerate Chris is in my journal, we laughed until we cried more than once, I decided to concentrate on writing, I worked on a new eBook, i woke up early every day, we finished the latest season of Vikings, we decided cold beer and salty popcorn in bed is THE BEST and must occur more often, I FaceTimed with friends, we discussed going home early (I cried of course), and I wrote - a LOT. I wrote a ton this week and I loved every minute of it. I meditated almost every day, and I enjoyed every day...even the days I was homesick. Oh, and I also completed my first full week of training for our next half marathon!
Great week. Happy Birthday to the love of my life <3
